A 360° Experience

Stem 50 is a unique and exclusive aluminum sailing yacht created for discerning sailors who truly understand the sea and seek something beyond what traditional production boats can offer. Aboard Stem 50, the sailor is placed at the very center of the experience: from navigation safety and sail handling to the comfort of interior and exterior spaces, and the intuitive use of onboard systems that make life at sea truly autonomous and sustainable.

The Stem experience goes even further. Each owner has the opportunity to personally select countless onboard details and witness their yacht take shape step by step, following the construction, outfitting, and customization phases directly at the shipyard. This direct involvement creates a deep and essential symbiosis between sailor and vessel - a relationship that will define their life aboard and their unique sailing style. It is an extraordinary journey guided by expert professionals and supported by an international company that stands by its owners long after the launch, not only during the first sea trials with the technical team but above all through an exceptional after-sales service that remains one of Stem’s proudest hallmarks.

Safety

Safety has always been one of Stem’s core values, rooted in its long experience designing rescue equipment. The same philosophy extends to this sailing yacht. Anyone stepping aboard Stem 50 knows they are sailing a solid and protected vessel, built in aluminium — a material with exceptional mechanical properties that ensures maximum safety for skipper and crew in any sea condition.

To further enhance safety, crash boxes have been added at the bow and stern, as found on the best ocean-going yachts. Both the keel and the twin rudders are milled from a single solid block, ensuring unmatched structural strenght compared to traditional solutions.

The sense of security aboard Stem 50 is also evident in many thoughtful details: the protected cockpit with its hard top and windscreen, handholds positioned in all strategic areas, the integrated bulwark, and the reinforced bowsprit. Every piece of onboard equipment has been carefully studied and positioned to ensure quick and intuitive access in case of emergency.

The quality of construction is evident even in the least visible details. A closer look at the precision of the electrical wiring and the Trudesign seacocks welded to the hull makes it clear that Stem 50 is a yacht conceived with safety at its core.

Easy sailing

A major focus of the Stem 50 project was to bring aboard a new philosophy entirely dedicated to the concept of “Easy Sailing”: making yacht handling simple, efficient, and safe in all conditions, even with a small crew.

Both helmsman and crew can rely on all halyards and sheets led back to the cockpit (all in Dyneema with Kevlar Performance covers), electric primary winches, optimized deck hardware, and a well-balanced sail plan with no running backstays, designed for rapid reefing when the wind strengthens.

In addition, Stem 50 features extensive onboard electronics, including the most advanced systems for chart consultation, automated steering, and route planning.
